About Me

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, I am a long-time fan of science fiction, fantasy and horror.

I discovered my artistic ability at a very young age when I was trying, unsuccessfully, to describe the "Lost in Space" robot to a classmate. Frustrated, I picked up a pencil and drew a rough picture of it and discovered that I could, apparently, draw.

Soon after, I started building my first robots, props, toys and spaceships out of cardboard, clay or bits of junk because there weren't any toys or models of what I wanted in stores at that time.

After years of working to support my hobby, my wife and I decided my hobby should support me. In 1994, we moved to Northwest Florida and took over her family's consignment arts and crafts store and began selling my work alongside local artists and craftsmen. After two years, we closed the store, took the business online and started selling my work internationally.
